Berlin-Vegan: Vöner

Vöner

Opened in 2007, this small vegetarian and almost fully vegan restaurant is alternatively managed and well-frequented. They offer kebab, which presents an alternative to the millions of restaurants in Berlin serving kebab made of dead animals. Here, the kebab spit is a pleasant sight, because one knows that it is completely animal-friendly.

Aside from the vegan döner kebab with a lot of salad, vegan garlic sauce, the options on the menu include spicy French Fries, two vegan burgers, named "Wagenburger" and "Bioburger". Unfortunately, there is a dairy cheese option for the burgers and one or two of the sauces are not vegan. The staff is, however, well-informed and will be happy to tell you what is vegan and what is not. Everything is sold at very reasonable prices.
