Dear Minister Garret,
Dear Madam or Sir,

The slaughter of kangaroos for meat, fur and leather demeans Australia's global image. Kangaroos are Australia's national icon and beloved worldwide. Kangaroos -like all animals- are not jackets, or shoes, and they deserve to be protected from cruelty and unnecessary death.

This annual slaughter is also putting the future of this unique species at risk. Australia's kangaroo kill is the largest known slaughter of land wildlife.

So I respectfully ask the government to stop the killing. Kangaroos live in harmony with the nature in Australia and should be protected for their intrinsic worth!!
