Dear Madam and Sir of Tucson in Arizona,

Please see the following video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69g6jMUMwcw&feature=channel_page

In 2008, SHARK exposed the Tucson Rodeo for shocking horses with 5,000 - 6,000  volts of painful electricity to make them perform. SHARK filed a complaint requesting a criminal investigation and charges against those responsible, with the Arizona Department of Agriculture, Animal Services Division.

SHARK received great media coverage of this issue helping to educate many in Arizona about rodeo animal abuse. In advance of the upcoming rodeo this
year, SHARK has sent out two press releases to the media, your City Council and your Mayor of Tucson requesting their attention and action on this issue. Did anything happen regarding this issue from your side?

I herewith, amongst many others around the world, request a ban on shocking the animals in the rodeo like many other rodeos in Texas, Colorado, Wyoming...

Sincerely,

Thank you for your recent email. The Tucson Rodeo made a change to its policy in 2009 and no longer uses shock treatment on animals and will continue to follow this policy.

Sincerely,
