Plans to bring greyhound racing to Jamaica are of great concern due to the inevitable cruelty involved. Huge numbers of greyhounds are destroyed each year after they’ve 'retired' from racing, and many pups are killed just because they’re deemed 'unsuitable' for racing. In addition, many greyhounds are subjected to abuse by owners who view them as mere commodities.

Please do not let greyhound racing happen in Jamaica. Please do your utmost to avoid greyhound racing in your beautiful country!
