Dear Ladies and Gentlemen of Japan Airlines,
I, like many people around the world, was very shocked to learn that Japan Airlines transports dogs and other animals from the United States for use in vivisection laboratories in Japan. I was particularly concerned to learn that your company conducts business with Covance, a company that has a history of abusing animals and breaking the law.
Japan Airlines should not tarnish its reputation by transporting animals for Covance, and it should stop all transport of animals for use in vivisection laboratories, where animals suffer myriad abuses before being killed.
Please follow the lead of Air Canada, Lufthansa and other compassionate airlines by refusing to transport dogs and other animals for use in vivisection laboratories.
Sincerely,
