Dear Officials in Italia,
Morini was once the biggest breeder of animals used in laboratories Italy-wide. Rats, Mice, Guinea Pigs and Beagles are still sold from Giovanna Soprani's Morini to experimentation laboratories all over Europe.
In November 2002, italian animal rights activists started the important campaign "Chiudere Morini". A short while before, activists documented via photos and videos the shocking facts inside Morini which the animal experimentation industry would like to hide and stay secret. 1,500 beagles were at the farm at that time. Since then, Morini had a lot of problems regarding the licence and due to many demonstrations. Since 2004 the farm breaks the law/given standards by your commune in different aspects with the knowledge of the authorities.
Please finally help to close down Morini and of course that the standards you gave to the farm are put into reality and do not exist only on papers. Otherwise please take the license for trading and selling of the animals away from Morini.
Sincerely,
