Dear politicians connected with the EU legislation,

Please immediately eliminate export refunds for all exports of live cattle and other living animals also within the EU, which you already did for the exports of EU cattle to the Middle East and North Africa, as far as I know.

All transports of living animals causes severe welfare problems for the animals, partly due to the length of the trip and also because of the cruel methods of loading and unloading and the slaughter methods employed at their final destination. The pigs, cows, chicken and other sensible individuals have to suffer more than enough and more than one can imagine during breeding and slaughtering.

As a supporter of all animal rights campaigns to end animal exploitation and misery I urge you to help end the suffering at least during the transport of animals.
