Dear Madam or Sir of Pakistan International Airlines,

I write to you to express my strong concern for the welfare and rights of animals used in the development of  pharmaceutical and other products. I heard your company supports Huntingdon Life Sciences (HLS) in its animal experiments, because Pakistan airlines have been flying beagle dogs from Marshall Farms in America through JFK airport to suffer and die in British labs. Pakistan Airlines flew 64 dogs that ended up at HLS last year, and are flying dogs that are going to B and K, UK lab animal suppliers.

There is absolutely no excuse for this disgusting, evil trade. Imagine those dogs, frightened and confused, in the hold of an aeroplane, then being trucked in the the hell of HLS, never to see the light of day ever again. Please make the decision NOW to stop your involvement in this disgusting trade!!

Over the course of five investigations, photographic images and testimonials have revealed Huntingdon technicians who nonchalantly kill dogs by flooding their lungs with toxic materials meant for the animals' stomachs. In one video clip, a technician punches a 4-month-old beagle in the face. During a supposedly post-mortem dissection, another tech slices into the chest of a convulsing monkey.

A former HLS employee who worked in the East Millstone lab's Histology department observed depressed primates slumped in their cages rocking back and forth. Another one-time employee stated: "I saw monkeys hunched over in pain after abdominal surgery. One of the employees doing the surgery told me that she had 'no idea what [she] was doing.'" HLS fails to properly euthanize animals. One investigator saw "a beagle on the necropsy table. The vivisector put a knife into the animal and he threw his head back and howled and actually lurched himself down the table... His last howls were when the leg muscles were severed."
